The Schools Division of Bais City is all hands on deck for the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conferenceโ€”the first under the newly established Negros Island Region.

Following the one-day Division Schools Press Conference in December 2025, the best of the best from various categories proceeded to this year’s Division Enhancement Training on Campus Journalism.

Powerhouse duo Dr. Elisa Sevilla, Education Program Supervisor for English, and Dr. Cristy Jabonillo, Filipino Coordinator, organized the two-day training, which was facilitated by trained teachers and guests from the academe.

CID Chief Arnulfo Adana encouraged the student-journalists to learn as much as they could, expressing hope that Bais City would bring home victories from the regional competition.

He acknowledged that the journey would not be easy, but with all the preparations already done and those still ahead, Adana considers the regional qualifiers winners in their own right.

โ€œSpecial thanks to the brilliant speakers for their expertise and effort, and to my CID colleagues as well,โ€ Dr. Sevilla shared online.

โ€œOn the way to RSPC, we go!โ€ she added.

Both Dr. Bernadette Susvilla, SDS, and Dr. Nilita Ragay, OIC-ASDS, expressed their full support for the regional qualifiers, emphasizing that regardless of the outcome, the division and the entire city are already proud of them.

โ€œDo your best. We believe in you, student-journalists,โ€ Dr. Susvilla said in her message.
