The Chairman of the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB) for the Schools Division of Bais City led the open ranking of Teacher 1 positions for elementary and junior high school on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Senior high applicants will have their opening ranking on Wednesday afternoon at the Bais City National Science High School Teacher-Student Activity Center.

Dr. Nilita Ragay, HRMPSB Chairman, welcomed the applicants as they reviewed their points during the opening ranking.

Records indicate that there were 91 elementary, 108 junior high school, and 40 senior high school applicants who participated in the entire ranking process.

Dr. Ragay congratulated those who persevered to achieve the open ranking, even though some had attempted it multiple times.

She encouraged applicants to actively seek updates on their ranking, as they aspire to be part of the workforce despite the challenging application process.

โ€œAs applicants, you must find a way to stay informed about the status of your application,โ€ Ragay emphasized. โ€œThis is your goal, so you need to work for it!โ€

Despite the challenges, the chair assured applicants that the latest ranking guidelines are โ€œfriendlyโ€ and ensure that โ€œthe bestโ€ candidates are selected.

The division also practices equal opportunity for all applicants, both from Bais City and elsewhere, as mandated by law.

Subcommittees, composed of education program supervisors from the Curriculum Implementation Division, facilitated the demonstration classes and teacher reflections.

Meanwhile, members of the HRMPSB reviewed their documents late last month in preparation for this weekโ€™s opening ranking.

Florante Bacang, Planning Officer III and a member of the HRMPSB, said that during the opening ranking, applicants can clarify their scores and may be asked for documents to corroborate their claims and increase their points.

Those who reach 50 points are included in the Comparative Assessment Result-Registry of Qualified Applicants (CAR-RQA).

The school’s division superintendent will select the best applicant from the CAR-RQA based on the available positions for appointment.
